[August 24, 2008 @ 10:20pm] I had an owl from my mother yesterday, a rare enough occurrence given that she hates sending me mail that way. But apparently the restaurant is doing well, and she's asked me to extend an invitation to everyone here who lives near, or will be in, Saint-Malo in their holidays. Apparently, any Beauxbatons student who chooses to dine at our restaurant, dines free. Speaking of Maman, I suspect there is more between her and Jacques, the new sous chef, than meets the eye.
